Oracle took great pains in the last year to counter complaints about how much it paid company executives. Its billionaire founder, Larry Ellison, even took a pay cut. Yet Oracle shareholders continue to signal their disapproval of the company’s compensation practices. For the third year in a row, more shareholders voted against than for a nonbinding proposal to approve the pay awarded to Oracle executives.
